Data-Driven Decision Maker

Data is the area in which I want to improve the most. I have outstanding spreadsheet skills and marrying those skills with development that drives data-driven decision making will make me a better professional. In my career, I've helped teachers look at assessment data from benchmarking tools as well as formative assessment tools. In addition, I've helped create in-house data tracking sheets for math and advisor groups.

To reflect on my coaching practice, I use a number of tools to collect and analyze data. For example: 

• Coaching Log - used to track and code time spent on various job related activities

• Clever Analytics - used to track usage of tools among teachers and students

• Needs Assessments - given each year to drive professional development offerings
